Hello all, we have arrived in Istanbul and had an amazing day. We visited the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the Topkapi Place, the Grand Bazaar, and the Hagia Sophia. The Bazaar was insane, miles of indoor warrens filled will small shops. It was very disorienting and amazing all at the same time. So crowded! But the most amazing was the Hagia Sophia, truly a magnificent building filled with the history of 3 religions and showing their struggles for supremacy over the centuries. Amazing City, amazing food!
